A trip to the Eastern most
point of the island takes you to Pahoa, Hawaii's Old West town. Beyond Pahoa
you can find spatter cones, tide pools, hot ponds, and lava trees while driving
down one of the most beautiful roads in the islands.

Tour historic Hilo and discover all those hidden treasures
in town; Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory; Nani Mau Gardens with it's tropical
paradise of botanicals; Panaewa Rain Forest Zoo; Lyman Mission House Museum;
Hilo Bay Front's too numerous to list gift shops, boutiques and stores and
the sure to please Farmer's Market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings starting
at 6am.

A 15 minute drive North of Hilo will take you to Rainbow Falls,
Akaka Falls, the Boiling Pots, Kaumana Caves and Hilo Tropical Botanical
Gardens off the 4 Mile Scenic Route.
Travel to the observatories at the summit of Mauna Kea and experience
a panoramic view of the island.
A journey around the island can take in the City of Refuge, a coffee
plantation tour and all the sights in Kona.
